Trixie Belden is Steph's favorite teenage super-sleuth (for those of you who think Nancy Drew is the only teenage detective, you are uninformed!). Trixie was in publication from 1948 to 1986, and had 39 mysteries written. She went out of print in 1986, but after changing hands several times (through different publishing-house takeovers), she came back into print in July 2003 (thank you, Random House publishing!).
